Another victim of U-25. This again may be SH 192, but taken from a different angle. Her stern is almost completely submerged and it is possible to see the underside of her keel as she tips backwards to her watery grave.
A dramatic photograph taken from U-25 of the last seconds before a merchant victim sinks for ever beneath the waves. This is a remarkable photograph, given the shutter speed of the camera and the rapid progress of the sinking of this vessel. The attack appears to have been made in relatively calm conditions.
